How this works
The calculation runs month by month rather than using a formula, so you can reproduce it in a spreadsheet and check it. Each month subtracts that month’s burn from the remaining cash, then grows the burn by the percentage you entered.
Cash runway is when the balance reaches zero. Decision runway is that number minus your raise window — the months a round takes to close plus the cash you want left when it does.
