What we collect, and what we don't.
Short, because there is very little to describe. This page is written against the code that runs this site, not from a template.
The short version
- This site sets no cookies and runs no third-party tracker.
- The only thing you can hand us is an email address, and only by typing it into the newsletter form yourself.
- We do not sell, rent, or share your address. There is no advertising network, no data broker, and no analytics vendor with access to it.
- You can leave in one click, and you never have to ask us.
Your email address
When you submit the newsletter form, your address is sent to Beehiiv, the email platform that stores the list and sends the issues. Beehiiv is the processor; they hold the address, we read it there. Nothing else from the form is transmitted, and no copy is kept on this site — this site has no database.
Alongside the address, the request sends the page you submitted from and a fixed source tag (foundersgpt-site), so we can tell website signups apart from any other channel. That is the complete payload; you can read it in website/lib/newsletter.ts.
We use it for one thing: sending the newsletter. Not for profiling, not for enriching against third-party data, not for anything else.
Your IP address
The newsletter endpoints rate-limit by IP so one client cannot flood the form. That value is held in memory for the length of the rate-limit window and then discarded. It is never written to a database, never attached to your email address, and never sent to the email provider.
Separately, Vercel — the host — records standard request logs for operating the service, as any web host does. Those are Vercel's infrastructure logs, retained under their policy, not something this application reads or builds on.
Analytics
This site uses Vercel Web Analytics. It is first-party by construction: the script is served from this domain, and it reports to a path on this same domain. It sets no cookie, assigns no persistent identifier, and cannot follow you to another site.
What it records is aggregate: which pages get visited, roughly from where, on what kind of device. We also count three interactions — that a signup was attempted, that a signup succeeded, and which library category was filtered. Those are counters. None of them carries your email address or anything that identifies you.
What this site does not do
- No accounts, no logins, no passwords — there is nothing to sign in to.
- No payment processor is connected, so no payment data exists.
- No advertising or social pixels. The site's content security policy blocks scripts from any other origin outright.
- No comment system, no chat widget, no embedded third-party frames.
Leaving
Every issue carries a one-click unsubscribe link in its footer, and your email client's own unsubscribe button works too. If you no longer have an issue to hand, use the unsubscribe page. Removal is immediate and you do not need to give a reason.
Your rights over your data
You can ask what address we hold, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted outright rather than merely unsubscribed. Write to sedatiskara@gmail.com — the same address that replies to every issue — and say which. A deletion removes the record from the email platform entirely; an unsubscribe only stops the sending.
Changes to this page
This policy describes the system as it is built today, not as it is planned. It is updated in the same commit as any change to what the site collects — that is a rule this project holds itself to, and the history is public in the repository that deploys this site.
